The Dark Knight

Ok, I just got home from seeing The Dark Knight. Holy freaking cow! It was an amazing movie. I had my eyes wide open the entire movie, all 150 minutes of it.

If you haven't seen it, I won't spoil it for you. But you need to get your butt to the movies right now!

Everyone has been raving about Heath Ledger as The Joker in this movie, and he was absolutely brilliant. Everything he did was so on cue with his character. It was seriously an Oscar worthy performance. He seriously freaked me out. I really think I'm going to have nightmares tonight! Maybe even for the next week.

But not only Heath Ledger great, the movie itself was pure genius. Seriously, they did an absolutely amazing job writing the story. There were no wasted scenes, no unnecessary sub-stories, non of the garbage that didn't need to be there. The interpretation of the comic was brilliant. I loved the way the next villian was introduced.

I loved how it seemed like it would never end. Now, that might be a bad thing for most movies, but not for Batman. This movie seemed so alive, like it is really breathing and living. The flow was wonderful, every piece of the movie fit right with the one before it, and took you right to the one after it. It was a complete movie in every sense of the word.

I'm no movie critic, so you shouldn't take my word for it. Go see it! Now! I might go see it again nest weekend.
